Another post about Dijon, but I  added new stuff to my new home and think it looks really nice that way.

Reasons why Dijon is the coolest city #1

Les époisses de Bourgogne. I had never heard of it before, but it’s seriously one of my favorite cheese now.

My school is the best

I started roller derby in sport class last week.

Lac Kir, Dijon.

Dijon, France.

So far, Bourgogne has been insanely cold and windy. The weather changes every ten seconds. But yeah, the city is pretty cool. Tomorrow i’m going back to the Ikea store, trying to find a toaster and some mugs. This is slowly becoming my new home :)

Day 6 in Dijon. So far the school is pretty awesome. Except for Economy class, in which I struggle not to sleep. The hazing is not unbearable, and there’s a lot of parties, there’s one next year inspired by the tv show Ford Boyard, so it’s kinda scary. Also, we’re supposed to have a godmother/father among the second year students that we have to find with 3 clues they gave us. I had a picture of a random small church in Dijon, a bag of sugar from East Europe and a drawing of a spanish donkey. took me 2 hours but I found my godmother!

I went to the city this afternoon! I didn’t have the time this week so I discovered how beautiful it is. Dijon is the home of the Ducs de Bourgogne so there are plenty of  historic places. And the roofs! it’s just amazing. Also, there are drawing of owls everywhere, because of a tradition related to smal smal sculpture of an owl, that your are supposed to stroke with your left hand….

After living two long years in Saint-Michel, Paris, I decided to move to Dijon, the land of mustard, cause this is where my new school is. So I had to leave my minute room in Paris for this small small flat. It’s kinda near the campus and it’s full of foreign students : My neighbor is apparently russian (for i haven’t met her yet), the other is spanish and some others are from north africa. So it’s pretty cool.
